Q Prompt: Develop a prospecting and networking plan. Consider the product or service you have decided to sell to your "prospect". What other businesses and types of businesses would be on your prospecting list if you needed to sell this product all the time? Make a list .... where could you network to help meet decisionmakers in those fields or in those businesses? Do some research and develop a networking calendar with at least 4 events on it in the next 1-year. What does your ideal client "look like" (e.g., type of business, size of business, etc...). Post enough information so that your classmates can understand what you are selling and the networking events you plan to attend (theoretically). After posting your own - read some of your classmates' prospecting and networking strategies. Give ONE student some other ideas for finding more leads that can turn into qualified prospects. Explain why these are good places for them to reach potential customers. Instructions: 1. Make your initial post by 23:59 EST Thursday of Week 3. 2. Respond to one other classmates' posts by 23:59 EST Sunday. Grading Rubric Your assignment will be graded according to the grading rubric. [Original threads not posted by the Thursday deadline receive a score of zero.]

I am selling an App I made up called MyPetCheck to my Mom, who owns her own Pet sitting business called Friends Furever Petsitters, LLC (she's pretending to be an owner of a regional chain with agencies of pet sitters for the purposes of this class, and the business is called Friends Furever Inc). The app allows pet sitters to record information about a client's pets (food, water, mood, walk/play, health, litterbox, etc.) and the clients are able to view these reports from their own end of the app to check in on things with their pets at home (while they are on vacation or at work).
